In the last years the population of the African lion had desease extremely fast. In a study the population of this amazing animal was about 400 remaining in the region.
This is something completely alarming, it's a very low number of specimen.
The reasons of the decrease are the damage caused in their habitat, the illegal trade of this kind of lion, adding the climate change.
In fact, their already countries in Africa where we don't have anymore of this lions.
The White African Lion

For this lion it's really hard to hunt, thanks to the white fur that doesn't allow them to camouflage. These lions end up living less thanks to the mutation they have, however it has nothing to do with the mutation, but with the difficulty of camouflaging.

They are affected by poisons that eat on purpose-poisoned corpses, or their infection by viruses or by parasites such as solitary or ticks.
Loss of habitat is also a vitally important factor, along with such a sharp change in climate.
The time it takes for a lion to reproduce is also part of the reason it is in danger of extinction.
We need to save the lion, raise awareness and support to promote a better life for all species damaged by these causes.
